Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan has successfully sued and won an eye popping settlement from famed gossip site Gawker, after the site leaked lurid content involving a sexual tryst Hogan had with another man’s wife back in 2007.
In a case almost a decade in the making, Hogan was able to win over a Florida jury to the tune of $115 million dollars as compensation for Gawker profiting off of and making his embarrassing sex tape a matter of public record.
The case could potentially bankrupt Gawker, and it is speculated to make internet gossip sites the world over a little more careful about leaking personal videos defiantly on to the world wide web.
By body slamming Gawker, Hogan appears to have had his greatest take down in decades…we just hope he is more careful about having cameras present during his personal time in the future.
