Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt once voiced a superhero in the 2011 animated adventure Megamind, but art imitated life when the hunky thespian came bounding to the rescue of a young fan who looked like she was going to be crushed by an overzealous mob that had gathered to take a look at Brad.
Brad was taking a break during the filming of the upcoming World War II drama Allied, when he took some time to greet fans in Spain’s Canary Islands. The fans on hand had worked themselves up into a frenzy, and a young girl was being pushed up against a fence, threatening to suffocate her.
Video of the incident shows Pitt pointing frantically to the child before rushing over to rescue her from the dilemma with his two bodyguards in tow. He then lifted the shocked girl over the fence and can be seen comforting her until a medical team arrived.
