Richard Simmons has been reclusive from the public eye since 2014, but now he’s coming forward to address the ongoing rumors surrounding his personal life.
And the former exercise chose to take to Facebook to share his thoughts on the Orlando mass shooting this past weekend at Pulse nightclub.
“Some tabloids have recently falsely reported that I am transitioning. In response, I feel compelled to set the record straight and refute these lies. Although I am not transitioning, I have and always will be supportive of those who are going through their journey,” Simmons said while rebuffing claims he was becoming a woman.
It had previously been reported to the media that Simmons was contemplating a transition to an alter female ego named “Fiona”, and that he had successfully began surgical alterations toward becoming the fairer sex.
Pictures leaked to the media seemed to imply this was more than a possibility, and although Simmons refutes the claims in a written note on social media, he yet to come forward into the light of day and show us his appearance…
