In a move that surprised no one, E! has pulled the plug on the short lived reality series about Bruce Jenner‘s second act as a geriatric woman named Caitlyn.
Audiences were just not all that enthralled by the antics of a former male Olympic icon prancing around in a dress talking about how hard it is to have never gone through menopause.
The show was deemed “difficult to relate with” by tv execs who axed the program…pray tell, who woulda’ thunk that a hideous surgically altered 66 year old millionaire living in Malibu that recently decided he was a woman wouldn’t hit home with any common ground with the average viewer…
We’re stumped…
Social justice warriors hoped the show would be a vehicle for political agendas, instead it was a crass expose of self indulgence and the cliche excesses that most people think of when they hear about alternative life styles.
In the clip below, Jenner spoke at an LGBT forum held during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland…another wrinkle in Jenner’s complicated biography that makes it difficult to determine what demographic is supposed to be the fan base, because in Hollywood you can be trans anything you want…so long as you don’t transcend across the political aisle into a Republican.
Looks like Jenner will have to find a new way to whore for attention…
