Shots fired! Is Demi Lovato throwing shade at Taylor Swift for donating to Kesha?

Demi Lovato is Not Happy With Taylor Swift’s Donation to Kesha
“Take Something to Capitol Hill or Actually Speak About Something…”
is on spotlight as she comments on Taylor Swift‘s $250, 000 donation to help Kesha as she tries to extract herself from a contract with her allegedly abusive producer Dr. Luke. The singer doesn’t think that is enough to really make a change and took to Twitter to have her say.
Take something to Capitol Hill or actually speak out about something and then I’ll be impressed.

To be fair, these both pop singers have shown their support in their own way. Taylor Swift was generous enough to help out with legal fees while Demi tweet her support for equality. However, Demi has made it clear that she believes Taylor could have done more.
In addition to her subtweet, Demi also allegedly took to a Taylor Swift Instagram fan page to respond to a TayTay fan who called out Lovato for her “shade.”
JustJared was able to capture Lovato’s comment:
How the f–k am I making this about myself? At least I’m talking about it. Not everyone has 250k to just give to people. Would love to but I didn’t grow up with money and def haven’t made as much as her.
She continued:
“There’s no ‘rivalry’ I just give more f–ks than other people and would rather start a dialogue ABOUT WOMEN COMING FORWARD ABOUT BEING RAPED than throw money at one person.”
Meanwhile, a fan account user pointed out that Kesha’s mom had been vocal about how she appreciated Swift’s donation, and that shading the singer wasn’t the answer either. It just made Lovato comment more.
“Didn’t shade Taylor. If you take it that way then fine,” she responded. “I’m just tired of seeing women use ‘women empowerment’ and ‘feminism’ to further brands without actually being the ones that have the uncomfortable conversations,” she said.

A couple of days ago, Kesha broke down in tears after a judge refused to cancel contract with Dr. Luke.
