1. The video’s release date.
Three years ago, she welcomed the new year with Harry Styles and kissed publicly in New York City’s Times Square. Now she premiered the video on a NYE show on the same place.
2. The blue, V-neck dress
Remember the picture of Taylor Swift alone on a boat? It was believed to be the very moment they broke up while the pair were in the British Virgin Islands on holiday. She was wearing a blue V-neck dress that day as well.
3. The familiar paper airplane necklace in the video.
The one she rips off of her neck? Yeah, when they were still together, Harry and Taylor wore identical paper airplane necklaces. It also appeared in the “Style” music video. This time though, she tossed it out as if to say she’s so over it – and Harry.
4. The message on the last part.
Back when “I Knew You Were Trouble” was released (that song that may or may not be about Harry Styles as well), Taylor’s opening monologue talked about losing herself. This one ends with her finding herself again—Huzzah!
