Uh oh, looks like someone is in trouble! Songwriters Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard just filed $20M lawsuit against Ed Sheeran because of the alleged infringement of their song, “Amazing”.

In a lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles federal court, it states that, “The chorus sections of Amazing and the infringing Photograph share 39 identical notes – meaning the notes are identical in pitch, rhythmic duration, and placement in the measure,”
They also noted that, “The similarity of words, vocal style, vocal melody, melody, and rhythm are clear indicators, among other things, that Photograph copies Amazing.”
is not giving any statement yet regarding the suit facing the singer. The songwriters, however, are feeling pretty confident about their case since their lawyers are the ones that won the case for the Marvin Gaye estate over “Blurred Lines” in a lawsuit against Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams guilty.
