DRAMA QUEEN: Kat Von D Ends Her Friendship With Makeup Icon Jeffree Star

Social media is where celebrity friendships go to die as of late…

The debacle between Kanye West and Taylor Swift aside, this is the most vicious celeb melt down of recent memory…and it’s between a bitchy reality tv star/ tattoo artist known simply as Kat Von D and an internet famous transvestite makeup expert named Jeffree Star…

Long story short, Kat Von D is ‘disassociating’ with Jeffree Star, her one time partner on several makeup ventures.

The 34-year-old Von D posted an unflattering photo of Star on her Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter on Tuesday with a red “banned” insignia across his face (think ‘Ghostbusters’ logo).

She cryptically ranted in the caption of the post that “after years of making excuses for, and rationalizing Jeffree’s inappropriate behavior (including, promoting drug use, racism, and bullying),” she simply couldn’t continue being friends with him after some undisclosed “recent events.”

I know that over the years, many of you were introduced to Jeffree through me, and regardless if you chose to continue to follow him or not, I just would like to disassociate myself from him and his brand from this point on. I plan on posting a video explanation as to why I felt compelled to make such a statement. But for the time being, I simply want to apologize to anybody and everybody who has ever had to deal with any of his negativity. And yes, with a heavy heart, I will be pulling the shade “Jeffree” from my collection. Sending extra love to everyone out there. ❤️

The post seemed to indicate that she planned to explain her reasons for dropping the friendship with Star in more depth in an upcoming video…AND she delivered:

She will also be pulling the popular hot pink shade “Jeffree” from her popular makeup line, Kat Von D Beauty it appears…so stock up if it’s your thing.

Jeffree Star didn’t take the situation lying down, the embattled makeup guru took the time to address Von D’s posts on his own Twitter. Star fired off a series of tweets about the fallout, one of which indicated that Von D “never supported me or my brand and got distant when I launched mine,” in his humble opinion…

Star even dismissed her in “talk to the hand” fashion…
