In a dramatic scene that reads like a page out of an episode of ‘Entourage’, actor Jeremy Piven had a very Ari Gold moment when he sent an LA cyclist to the emergency room with a gnarly gash in his chest…
Piven opened his car door Tuesday — no big deal, it;’s how you get out of a vehicle. Problem was … he didn’t look first and a bicyclist slammed into the door, cutting his chest open like a razor…a deep slash penetrating through the clothes and flesh of the cyclist.
Jeremy was near The Grove when he parked his car next to the curb and flung open the door of his 2015 CTS Cadillac. The 35-year-old man who was peddling along was badly hurt and taken to the hospital by ambulance to further assess the wound.
Jeremy was indeed at fault but he wasn’t ticketed because cops didn’t see the accident happen. Jeremy was reportedly very cooperative with law enforcement when they arrived on the scene.
The victim received stitches on his chest. Too early to know about a civil suit, but you can bet your bottom dollar that one is on the way…
Piven probably wishes he had a real life Lloyd to take care of this for him…
