The rumor mill is buzzing. And sources have reportedly confirmed with Us Weekly that Luke Pell is the next Bachelor. *Crickets*
You might remember Luke as the rugged country boy who was always kissing JoJo with the kind of intense passion that made us a little uncomfortable.
Luke made it to the final four but was sent home minutes after telling JoJo the infamous words, “I love you” instantly crushing the hearts of millions of girls around the country. While Luke was hot, he was a tad bit boring, and we can’t help but think next season’s ratings will continue to plummet with this choice.
There are other contestants in line in case Pell falls through. These include runner up Robby Hayes, Chase McNary, and Wells Adams (my personal favorite after his epic drunken snapchat story).
Personal feelings aside, the country hunk has a lot to offer and would make any woman a lucky lady. Here are 5 things to know about the supposed new bachelor:
1. Luke is tall. At 6’1 Luke would make any girl weak in the knees and even has a modeling gig for Amax Talent.
2. Luke
’s favorite movies are Lonesome Dove, Forrest Gump, Step Brothers. We applaud these choices.
3. Luke is a war veteran. He studied sociology and engineering at West Point before graduating in 2007. He served in the military for 5 years as a U.S army officer and member of the 101st Airborne in Afghanistan. He left active duty as a Captain in 2012. Safe to say he’s seen some sh*t.
4. He’s a country singer. If you’re curious, which I know you are, you can find his music on iTunes here.
