If you venture out into the Nevada desert for the Burning Man Festival, don’t be surprised when full on hedonistic debauchery is all around you.
Among the attractions at the yearly event, which sees tens of thousands of people gather for at least a week of rebellious mayhem, is the Orgy Dome.
Run by a fringe lifestyle group called And Then There’s Only Love, the 24-hour giant tent is billed as a safe, “a sex-positive, consensual space for couples and moresomes to play”, welcoming “the combination of love in all forms”.
Translation: it’s a no holds barred orgy.
Everyone’s invited – regardless of whether you’re straight, lesbian, gay, bi, poly-amorous or monogamous.
More than 5,000 people enjoyed the delights of the Dome at last year’s festival, with couples reportedly lining up to go inside.
The door is always staffed and you must be with a partner to enter, though some partner swapping has been known…so singles need to find a partner as the price of admission.
As well as some good old-fashioned orgies, the Orgy Dome is fully equipped with massage tables, mattresses lining the walls, sheets, couches and supplies including lubricants and condoms…and hopefully buckets of disinfectant and hand sanitizer…
There are also classes on sadomasochism, group erotic massage and theme nights, ranging from threesome specials to competitions for the ‘loudest moaners’….just in case the orgy fails to excite you enough.
In any event, the infamous sex tent is now an attraction for swinging couples and perverts from across the globe, free and willing to lose their inhibitions with perfect strangers for a few moments or acts of lustful curiosity in the middle of the desert.
So if you’re going to Burning Man in the near future, just be advised to practice safe sex, you wouldn’t want to become a literal burning man in the aftermath should things start to itch…
