Movie star Leonardo DiCaprio has received some public shaming for whipping out his vape pen during the recent SAG awards.
Fans and busybodies took to social media questioning what kind of role model Leo was being, and accused him of setting a bad example toward smoking.
MTV led the charge, citing the rise in teen vaping across the nation as a disturbing trend, claiming studies show it is not a harmless practice for your lungs.
But apparently we live in a world where adults can’t enjoy adult things on their own time without someone getting up in arms about it.
FYI to those concerned: DiCaprio is a serial vapor, the man likes to vape, you’re just going to have to learn to accept that it is part of the Leo package. Vaping is like DiCaprio’s version of Green Eggs & Ham, he will vape in a car, he will vape in a bar, he will vape here or there, and he will vape most everywhere.
But good to know twitter knows best, policing the lifestyle choices of grown men is an important undertaking, one that only social media was fit to do.
So take note Leo: dump all the supermodels you want, go through women’s hearts like most people do socks, indulge your inner playboy at every whim, but don’t you dare (wink) vape in view of the camera.
