Harley Quinn Smith, the teenaged daughter to quirky film director Kevin Smith, had a frightful brush with the utterly creepy.
The 16 year old was reportedly approached by two young men pretending to be Uber drivers…but thankfully the young actress had the wherewithal not to enter the car.

The alleged vehicle in question displayed an Uber sign on the front window, but Smith could tell the two men in the car were not associated with the mobile app based ride share company.
Harley first shared her unnerving account on Instagram, describing how she was waiting for her Uber car service to arrive when a beige car pulled up and tried to convince her they were there to pick her up.
Not to be deterred, Harley reported the incident to the police, and she still used an Uber to get home. Safety Tip: A spokesperson for Uber has since stressed the importance of matching the identification materials provided on the app to the car that picks you up.
We’re thankful the young starlet is safe and sound, and smart enough to smell a rat when she sees it…we’re also sorry her father named her after a comic book character, and we’re rooting for her to fix that when she’s old enough to legally do something about it.
