It’s beginning to look as if some negligence is afoot at Disney World.
Mere weeks before the heartbreaking drowning of a 2 year-old-resort guest at the hands of an alligator, video has surfaced showing that gators have mingled too close for comfort among theme park guests for some time, and it seemed inevitable an incident would eventually happen.
Disney World is built on a Floridian swamp, its access to swamp wildlife is near unavoidable, but the lax precautions toward dangerous predators such as alligators may be a liability that comes back to bite the Mouse House in the proverbial butt.
In fact, Disney World is a haven for gators … some of which have become so bold they have tried to board rafts that are often filled with unsuspecting guests…
Confidential Disney World sources confirm that gators are a nagging problem that has not been abated by any meaningful steps.
Adding to potential liabilities for Disney, its resorts didn’t have any postings warning of alligators, only “no swimming” signs, and the young boy attacked wasn’t even swimming … he was standing in a foot of water at the time of the attack…
