Beware of the peanut gallery, one of golf’s favorite pastimes is enduring hecklers while trying to make a putt.
And superstar Rory McIllroy took exception to a rude heckler during a recent golf outing, and decide he would put the unruly man on the spot to get a taste of his own medicine.
After Rory missed a relatively simple putt and received a ribbing from the man in question, he was plucked from the crowd and offered a Benjamin Franklin if he could nail the putt himself.
Completely unphased, the heckler took to the green, and under the scrutiny of watching eyes proceeded to nail the putt in a single stroke right into the hole…no pressure.

Proving if you’re gonna talk smack, you’d best back it up…and on this day the heckler served up what he was dishing out.
