The balding Prince William has been reportedly envious of soccer star Wayne Rooney’s hair transplant.
The future King of England had a perfect view of Rooney’s artificially restored head of hair when he presented the Manchester United captain with the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium.
And his highness was so impressed with Wayne Rooney’s princely head of hair, that friends close to Prince William have begun to wonder aloud if William is ready to ask Rooney for his cosmetic surgeon’s number.

One anonymous royal source claimed: “William has had a chat with Wayne about his transplant and told him how good it looks.”
As for the state of his own mane, sources indicate that Prince William would prefer to still have the golden locks of his early youth, and the 33-year-old royal is none too keen to join his heriditary lineage in the ranks of absolute baldness.
“It is dropping out dramatically and he’s not happy about it, but he is worried that he would be ridiculed if he had anything done,” a royal source told the British tabloids.
But apparently Prince William is hesitant to change his appearance for the sake of true vanity, fearing he may disappoint his fellow royal patriarchs.
“He also thinks Prince Charles and Prince Philip wouldn’t approve. Their attitude is ‘deal with it and just get on with it’.”
In recent years William has chosen cut his hair short and abandon any attempt to conceal his looming baldness.
Thinning locks run in the Royal family. Prince Charles, Prince Philip and uncle Prince Edward have all lost much of their hair…but money remains a great aphrodisiac, and they have it in spades…
