A terror plot to abduct Manny Pacquiao and his children has been uncovered in the Philippines.
The Filipino government recently revealed the plot in an effort to make the boxer aware of the potential danger to his safety, and to summon public support to the national boxing hero.
The alleged terror group that has threatened to kidnap Manny and the children is known as Abu Sayyaf, a notorious and radical group of Islamic outlaws that have ties to ISIS.
Pacquiao spoke briefly to the press about the safety of himself and his family:
“We asked for security, protection for my kids, my family to make sure they are safe.”
The thugs in question have made headlines executing and beheading Western tourists that they’ve kidnapped.
The boxing icon has shown his cautious side, and is taking no chances with threats towards his children.
Which just goes to show that anyone who would threaten children, the children of a world famous fist fighter at that, is not only cowardly, but in fact stupid.
It’s believed that Manny’s outspoken Christianity along with his cultural status has made him the target of the fanatical Muslim terror group.
