In a damning piece of video, which may turn the divorce trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp on its very head, the Oscar-nominated actor is seen and heard being an angry drunk in footage that Amber Heard filmed of the two interacting in their home.
The actress, 30, has since denied leaking the video – seemingly taken on her phone without Depp’s, 53, knowledge – to news website TMZ.
Which begs the question, if she didn’t leak it, then who did *cough* her lawyers *cough*…
The spat on the video is said to be an earlier incident than the one in May that allegedly left Amber Heard with a black eye.
Sources close to the Depp camp have claimed that the footage has been ‘heavily edited’ and in some parts, Amber can even be seen to smile….basically the spin doctors want to discredit it as a hit piece, it’s the only way to do damage control for Depp at this point.
The video begins as Captain Jack Sparrow slams kitchen cabinets, nearly ripping them from the hinges.
From there a curse filled exchange between the two volatile lovers ensues, culminating in Depp discovering that he’s being filmed…lunging to confiscate Amber’s phone from her.
Since the video went online on Saturday morning, actress Amber has issued a statement to the same website clarifying her position regarding the controversial footage.
She reveals that she ‘underestimated’ the emotional impact divorce proceedings against the Hollywood star would have on her.
If the authenticity of the video can be confirmed, it may be a damning piece of evidence against Depp in Amber’s domestic violence suit.
Perhaps this unkind PR was just a bold move to push for a settlement with Depp as soon as possible, in hopes that he’ll want to make this all go away from the news cycle as quickly as it possibly can…
Amber and Johnny wed back in February of 2015 and called it quits in May of 2016…which in Hollywood is about on par with a 20 year marriage…the pair made no babies together, however, which is probably for the best…
