Hip hop bad boy Rick Ross had his ankle monitor go off while he was at the White House this weekend.
Apparently the house arrest beacon was more than a stylish accessory, but an actual court ordered tracking device.
The aging rapper — whose real name is the far less street credible William Leonard Roberts II — was in Washington, D.C. to support the Obama administration’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative, which supposedly aims to keep young black people out of jail…making Ross’s ankle beeping presence more than a little bit ironic.
Ross has reportedly worn an ankle monitoring bracelet ever since he was released from jail after posting a $2 million dollar bond as a condition for his release back in July 2015.
Ross was arrested after he allegedly kidnapped and assaulted his groundskeeper…an occupational hazard that no yard man should be forced to endure.
