A deranged man was detained outside of Taylor Swift‘s New York City home some time around 6 p.m. Tuesday evening. The singer’s security team sprung into action and alerted local authorities to come to the scene.
Law enforcement handcuffed the trespasser and described the man as “disoriented” as well as “emotionally disturbed.”
The man in question reportedly was carrying a duffle bag with him, which was thoroughly searched. He has been identified as 25-year-old Lucas Vorsteveld, and is allegedly one of the same creeps seen stalking Swift’s Rhode Island mansion recently. (Apparently there is more than one Taylor Swift stalker on the prowl.)
Vorsteveld has not yet been charged with a crime…though charges are pending upon the good graces of Taylor Swift and her attorneys. The suspect was taken to Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital for psyche evaluation.
Fortunately Swift was not home at the time of the home intrusion…we hope she’s as sassy with home invaders as she is with ex-boyfriends.
A word to the wise for potential Taylor Swift stalkers, if she gives her ex-lovers both barrels in her music, imagine what she might literally do if you come through her door…food for thought.
