It’s an age old story, a beautiful freshly divorced leading lady pairs with a gorgeous recently divorced leading man, and they have instant chemistry. This isn’t a romantic comedy, but it does appear to star both Jennifer Garner and Patrick Dempsey.
Word out of Tinseltown has that the two freshly single dreamboats are canoodling about Los Angeles like a couple of infatuated school kids. Both stars ended their respective marriages earlier this year, but began a courtship with one another after Jennifer reportedly asked Patrick out for coffee months ago.
It seems serendipitous that the pair starred in the 2009 rom-com “Valentine’s Day” and had undeniable sparks between them while filming. Now that both actors are back on the market, the two have decided to explore a more serious relationship…a very serious one.
The two lovers enjoyed a second date over dinner ‘that ended up lasting a whole weekend’. While Ben reportedly cheated on the actress with their former nanny, Patrick in contrast, is treating her like a “queen” according to people who know the couple well.
Both actors have three kids with their exes, and have been spotted looking quite amicable with their former spouses when in public. So there’s no telling when and if a celebrity ‘Brady Bunch’ is going to happen for Patrick and Jennifer.
With the Holidays in full swing, the two inseparable lovebirds have had to learn to live with some separation, but long distance has proven more than doable for this would be power couple. Jennifer is reportedly so enamored with her new beau that she’s practically living out a schoolgirl crush like her “13 Going on 30” character in the eyes of those closest to her.
Patrick’s former wife Jillian Fink, filed for divorce in January after more than 15 years of marriage and three children. Dempsey remains an active father despite the egg shells his divorce has caused with the children’s mother.
Meanwhile, Jennifer and her ex-hubby Ben Affleck are residing at the same Los Angeles property nearly seven months after their initial split. She’s reportedly in the main house, while Ben dwells in the guest house. The two are said to be putting up with the awkward living situation for the sake of their children while the divorce details are ironed out and made final.
