During the conclusion of Miss Universe 2015 host, US comedian Steve Harvey, misread his cue card in front of a global television audience late Sunday. Harvey initially announced that Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez had triumphed, leaving everybody in attendance baffled and in hysterics.

It was truly an unforgettable victory for Ms. Philippines, Pia Wurtzbach in the Miss Universe 2015.
After 42 years, the Philippines had a Miss Universe winner. But what happened after the curtain fell on the evening?
Here’s a video captured by an audience member that seems to show fellow contestants shoving Ms. Pia Wurtzbach as she tried to approach Ms. Colombia.
It looks like the other candidates were trying to comfort Miss Colombia, but a lot of people don’t agree with how they treated Ms. Philippines.
“I’m very sorry, I did not take the crown from her and I wish her well in whatever she wants to pursue after this pageant,” Ms. Philippines said during the post-pageant press conference.

Harvey later took to Twitter to ask forgiveness for what he called “an honest mistake,”. Unfortunately, he misspelled the name of the two countries involved — “Miss Philippians and Miss Columbia” – but he quickly corrected his mistake.
“I’d like to apologize wholeheartedly to Miss Colombia & Miss Philippines for my huge mistake. I feel terrible,” said one of his messages, retweeted more than 85,000 times.
Here are the reactions of other celebrities:
Look, that #MissUniverse2015 ending was awkward as hell. But happy for the Philippines and second place is still for the WHOLE UNIVERSE. ??
