When Victoria’s Secret Angels Take Flight
Flawlessly sexy and oozing with confidence- these are just some of the hyperbolic adjectives only applicable to Victoria’s Secret angels, set to fly in the upcoming runway show airing worldwide on Dec 8 at 10/9C on the CBS Television Network.
Led by veteran angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel, the show will debut the up-and-coming new angels that were introduced a couple of months ago. Stella Maxwell, Romee Strijd, Marth Hunt, Lais Ribeiro, Monika ‘Jac’ Jagaciak, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Taylor Hill, Sara Sampaio and Kate Grigorieva are a new breed of angels ready to take one’s fantasy to another new level.
The lingerie giant is also celebrating its 20th year anniversary, and to make it more exciting, they will showcase the most risqué looks since its inception. According to Daily Mail UK, there are several segments that will flaunt the angel’s sexiness. One part named Firework will make use of exotic feathers in all hues imaginable. Another dubbed as Ice Angel flaunts a onesie bedazzled with sequins and crystals just strategically placed to cover the curves. HOT- yes? These are only snippets of what to expect.
Apart from that, this is also the first time angel Lily Aldridge gets to wear the $2 million dollar fantasy bra. Telegraph UK reported that the bra, with its matching belt designed by Mouawad, is covered with over 6,500 precious gems, including diamonds, blue topaz, yellow sapphires and pink quartz, all set in 18-karat gold. How she felt? She told Peoplestyle, “I’m not scared, I’m super excited and I’m anxious to just get on the runway and wear it and be in that moment.”.
And although the show just finished filming last November, no one can wait for this annual extravaganza to happen on TV. The angels, the outfits, and the show in general are going to be a spectacle, and we can’t wait for the angels to strut their stuff!
