That’s right, British heartthrob Benedict Cumberbatch is the latest A-list actor to throw his star power behind a lesser known character in the Marvel movie universe.
The latest Marvel superhero movie, directed by Scott Derrickson, also stars the lovely Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen and a bald Tilda Swinton as Strange’s savvy mentor, the ‘Ancient One’.
The movie follows Stephen Strange, aka Doctor Strange, played by the one and only actor whose fans you can refer to as “bitches” without being accused of chauvinism.
And if you’re confused as to how this bizzare themed movie is going to fit in with dueling superheroes and talking raccoons… well, maybe you’re over thinking this.
The film seems poised to be a promising origin story, and a romp that establishes this lesser known Marvel character in full. So get your popcorn ready, and boyfriends rejoice…because here’s a superhero movie that the ladies might be willing to go see with you.
