The saga of the boy wonder turned pariah continues, as Johnny Manziel, in an effort to avoid fugitive status, turned himself in to police in Highland Park, Texas.
Manziel had been indicted last month for domestic violence by a grand jury in Texas.
The disgraced quarterback is alleged to have roughed up his ex-girlfriend in a hostile altercation earlier in the year…one that didn’t end with pressed charges by the victim, but that retroactively had sufficient enough incriminating evidence against the former athlete to summon an indictment from a grand jury.

The exiled NFL quarterback was booked Wednesday and released on $1,500 bail.
Manziel was ordered by the court to appear in person Thursday to enter his plea, his attorney has indicated they will plead “not guilty” at this time.
If convicted of domestic violence charges, Manziel faces up to 1 year in jail.
In an effort to be self deprecating Manziel tweeted about his mugshot…though his lack of decorum about such serious charges have alarmed people that even the prospect of prison time hasn’t seemed to have sober him up….he has since deleted the tweet.
But the thing about the internet is it is forever…your sins will find you out.
