For JC Chasez‘s big 4-0 celebration, his former boy band brothers, including Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and superstar Justin Timberlake, all came together for the birthday festivities.
Seeing a former teenage pinup crossing the threshold into middle age is a watershed benchmark for 90s boy bands, evidence we all ain’t as young as we used to be.
Most of the other early 2000s boy bands like the Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and even O-Town have hopped on the nostalgia wave and come together for reunion tours in recent years….but thus far *N’Sync has resisted that trend…probably because it’s beneath Justin Timberlake’s star power to do so.
Just the same, the former band mates remain a tight knit group of friends, their chemistry on display whenever they get together in the same room.
But once the beer was drunk, the cake eaten, and the nostalgia indulged, it was time to say bye, bye, bye yet again with an understanding that the reunion was just a friendly get together with no strings attached…
