Twitter’s protectiveness over the new Ghostbusters film is entering Orwellian territory. First the carpet bomb banning of those @ tweeting the film’s star Leslie Jones, most notably the banning of gay political provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, and now a Twitter comedian was apparently forced to delete a tongue-in-cheek tweet because it offended the director, Paul Feig.
Feig’s thin membrane like skin was apparently harmed by this rather innocuous tweet:

The sissy director, who must have been scanning Twitter for criticisms of his Ghostbusters masterpiece, retweeted BardockObama in unprovoked anger, thus dispatching a swarm of easily offended Feig fans on to the Twitter comedian. Bardock claimed he was harassed by people calling him a “misogynist” and telling him to “kill himself”.
But that wasn’t the worst of it all, Twitter allegedly locked Bardock out of his account and would not reinstate him until he deleted the inoffensive tweet.

So much for freedom of speech on Twitter it appears, at least if you dare not to sing the praises of the Ghostbusters reboot…

Twitter Nazis are gonna twitter Nazi, I guess…
