Brad Pitt infamously left his one time bride Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie back in 2005, so it’s little wonder she found it ironic if not inevitable that he would cheat on Jolie…it all was just a matter of time in her mind.
An insider told Us Weekly exactly what Aniston had to say on Tuesday after the split was revealed: ‘Yeah, that’s karma for you!’
And it’s hard not to feel some of Jen’s delight, truly what goes around comes around.
The once dumped actress ‘admittedly feels sort of satisfied about Brad and Angelina’s split’ according to the insider.
Frankly, Jennifer knew the split was destined to happen from the very start.
‘Everyone in Jennifer’s inner circle regards Angelina as a crazy master manipulator. But we all presumed the end of their affair would be Angelina leaving Brad for someone else.’
The source also said that Jennifer isn’t gloating about the divorce…at least not in public…
The source confidaed: ‘Jen still cares about Brad and wishes him well. She has moved on and is really happy with Justin Theroux.’
Aniston and Pitt wed in 2000 and split in 2005, and while Jennifer has gone on to marry actor-writer Justin Theroux in 2015, her previous marriage to Brad remains a fascinating subject…namely due to the homewrecking nature in which Angelina Jolie ended it…only to apparently see herself homewrecked by another woman a decade later.
Jennifer spoke out about Brad and Angelina in a 2008 Vogue interview during which she said, ‘What Angelina did was very uncool.’
The harsh words were Jennifer’s reaction to Angelina revealing intimate details about her life with Brad in a 2007 interview with the same magazine.
‘There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening,’ Jennifer told Vogue writer Jonathan Van Meter, who had spoken to Angelina the year before.
Now it’s Angelina’s turn to feel the heartache of Brad’s disloyalty in a very public manner…and it’s awfully hard to feel very sorry for her.
