British superstar, Adele “cried pretty much all day” after an embarrassing glitch tainted her 2016 GRAMMYs performance.

Adele Cried the Grammys Away
Adele has revealed she cried “all day” after her audio issues at the Grammys 2016 when a microphone fell onto the piano strings. She said she was “embarrassed” by everyone’s pity. There had been some reports that the interference was caused by Justin Bieber rehearsing backstage but Adele quickly dismissed the notion.
Adele was singing her hit “All I Ask” from her new album, 25, when the sound dropped in and out and she sounded uncharacteristically off-key.
“Some people thought it was Justin Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn’t him. We’re on great terms. And then it kind of put the whole thing off really,” she said.
“I was embarrassed. I woke up the next morning to people in England saying ‘we still love you, don’t worry’. And I was like, I didn’t ask you if you still love me but thanks.”
There were technical difficulties which meant it sounded like there was a guitar in her performance and made her sound off-key. Adele had to apologize to fans on Twitter after the sound problem at the ceremony. She says she’s over it now though, and says if it happens again she’ll stop the music.
The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that’s what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens. X

“I always cry but yesterday I kept spontaneously bursting into tears.”
One good thing to come out of her Grammys disaster is that Adele feels she’s probably cured her stage fright for the future.
“I don’t feel like it could go that much worse than the Grammy’s, so I feel like I’m alright now. Anything that happens, dust it off!” she added.
“If it wasn’t live TV I would have busted a joke, but because it was, I couldn’t make the disaster my own.”
Adele is due to perform at the Brit Awards next week.
