Frustrated Disney CEO made comment after Sanders slams Disney at Anaheim rally.
Bob Iger erupted on social media against Bernie Sanders’ attacks on Disney’s alleged low wages and Iger’s sky-high salary, posing a rhetorical question in a private Facebook post that leaked to the media: “How many jobs have you created?”
Iger’s private facebook message read as follows:
“To Bernie Sanders: We created 11,000 new jobs at Disneyland in the past decade, and our company has created 18,000 in the US in the last five years. How many jobs have you created? What have you contributed to the US economy?”

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders launched a scathing attack on the Walt Disney Co. during an Anaheim Convention Center rally that featured 1,500 of his supporters.
“Anybody make a living wage working for Disney?” Sanders asked. “It’s an example of what we’re talking about when we talk about a rigged economy.”
Sanders didn’t stop there, however, “Disney pays its workers wages that are so low that many of them are forced to live in motels because they cannot afford a decent place to live.”
“People are asking, is it right that at Disneyland you have a CEO making $46 million while they’re paying their workers starvation wages.”
These invocations of class warfare infuriated Hillary Clinton loyalists such as Bob Iger, who responded in kind with his real thoughts on Sanders’ allegations…albeit in private…at first…but on the internet nothing these days truly is “private”…you’re only a hack away from being exposed at all times.
