The United States Secret Service has launched an official investigation after Donald Trump‘s former butler called for the death of President Barack Obama…
The elderly retired Trump servant, Anthony Senecal, shared a Facebook post that President Obama “should have been taken out by our military and shot as an enemy agent in his first term”.
Senecal worked for US presidential candidate Donald Trump for nearly 30 years…but the Trump campaign quickly disavowed Mr Senecal’s remarks.
“He is not employed by Mr Trump, and hasn’t been since June of 2009,” Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks said in an official statement. “We strongly condemn these horrible comments from Mr Senecal.”
Senecal’s comments were first exposed by the liberal editorial publication Mother Jones, but Senecal later confirmed the report’s authenticity to several media outlets.
The 84 year old former butler didn’t stop there, however, and went on to tell CNN that President Obama should be “hung” outside the White House…and we don’t think he meant it as a metaphor.
He also called the White House the “White Mosque”….presumably in reference to his perception that Obama has bowed to political correctness and Islamic interests.
The New York Times profiled Anthony Senecal back in March, the profile revealed that despite retiring in 2009 Senecal has stayed at Mr Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida as “a kind of unofficial historian“.
