Friends is back! The Friends cast has been confirmed to reunite for a two-hour special!
Fans have been dying for a reunion ever since Friends ended its decade-long reign on Thursday night TV back in 2004. Now, it’s finally happening! 12 years after going off the air, the original cast will reunite, NBC announced at the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Pasadena on Wednesday.

All six actors – Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc – will participate in a tribute broadcast honoring legendary TV director James Burrows, who helmed 15 Friends episodes throughout the show’s 10-season run.
But there’s a catch: Although NBC hopes the stars will appear together, there’s a chance it won’t be possible to get everyone in the same room. “I’m not sure we can logistically pull that off,” said Greenblatt.

Still, there’s a strong chance the group will all want to play a part in honoring Burrows so our fingers are remaining firmly crossed.
Fans of the long-running TV series were quick to share their excitement via social media shortly after the announcement was made.
Me finding out about the Friends reunion is like Rachel finding out Ross was in love with her. What did you just say? crystal duck.
