The ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival On Netflix!
TV Hit Revival In The Works — Lorelei, Rory and Emily are back!
So, what do we know thus far?
First, we are aware that the core characters will be present. Yes, you heard it right! Since the creator of this hit TV series, Amy Sherman-Palladino, together with her husband, Daniel Palladino, are still writing and directing, the main stars, Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore), Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore), Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), and Scott Patterson (Luke Danes) are all back in the show to reprise their characters.

Let’s not end the list with just the main acts because the faithful regulars, such as Keiko Agena (Lane Kim), Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger), Sean Gunn (Kirk Gleason) and many more, will also be returning to reprise their roles in the series.
Second, we also know that even though Netflix still didn’t confirm the title of the revival, Amy Sherman-Palladino kind of leaked that episodes will be named after the weather seasons. In short, the four 90-minute episodes will have the titles “Spring”, “Winter”, “Summer” and “Fall”.

Third, being absent during the June 2015 ATX TV Festival, fans wondered whether Melissa McCarthy, who played the adorable Chef Sookie and Lorelei’s BFF, will also be seen again during revival shows. And the answer is a resounding YES!
According to Palladino, McCarthy had been really busy lately, and that they were having a hard time reaching her. But given the opportunity, the show is very much open for her.

“But the thing I have said [to her team] is, ‘Look, if Melissa is available and has an afternoon free, I’ll write her a scene. Melissa was one of us. If she has a spare moment to run over [to the set] — even if for just a cameo — we would be totally game. And if it’s a last-minute thing, I would write her in and we would figure it out. That’s the way we left it.”
Palladino said in an article released by E!.
The Gilmore Girls revival shoot will last until May 10 of this year. Using our stalker abilities, we are expecting that roughly, the show will be released before Christmas. *Fingers crossed*
