Age does not entirely determine a person’s maturity, but given the reputation of 19 year-old college coeds it has led to people wondering if Henry has made a wise choice. Cavill shared he was super intimidated when he met his girlfriend and wanted desperately to impress her. It turns out he didn’t have to try too hard… she was in to older and more distinguished men than her age bracket. Now who would have thought the “Man Of Steel” would be intimidated by a girl? It’s almost adorable.
Cavill is aware of the natural reaction to their age difference. He admits that the roles were reverse for him at one time, as he dated a 32-year-old woman when he was still 19, and pretty much knows the issues that surround this type of arrangement. Though he’s totally comfortable in his relationship with Tara King and hopes it remains an amicable love affair.
When asked about what his former relationship with an older woman taught him, Cavill replied
modestly: “Things I can’t mention in this article.”
