Hugh Hefner, the iconic and elderly Playboy patriarch, looks to be lawyering up and girding his loins for a nasty legal battle ahead.
The woman who alleges that Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion has just added ol’ Hef to the lawsuit, she even claims that Hefner knew of the allegations about Cosby’s sexual battery proclivities but failed to keep her out of harm’s way.
The accuser further claims in her new lawsuit, that Hugh Hefner is the one who introduced her to Bill Cosby back in 2008 during a party at the Playboy Mansion. Upon this now infamous meeting, she alleges that Cosby spiked her drink and then when she was loopy proceeded to suck on her toes.
She also says when she woke up her breasts were wet and sticky from an undetermined substance…and it did not appear to be Jello.
According to the lawsuit, Hefner had a suspicious habit of inviting “young and impressionable and possibly minor children to his residence and providing alcoholic beverages.”
The accuser also claims Hefner knew or should have known that Cosby had a “history of severe and serial sexual battery and/or possibly rape of women” and that exposed his guests to harm….how this is going to be proven remains to be seen….but the PR damage is already done…and with the Playboy estate reeling financially, this could be a back breaking legal fight for Hefner, who already has one foot in the grave.
I guess dirty old men will be dirty old men…
