We thought Iggy Azalea and Nick Young have gone beyond the odds after the big challenge their relationship had to face. But just the other day, Iggy announced that she’s done with Nick and explained that she is unable to trust the NBA player anymore.
Iggy took to Instagram to announce the split. It’s admirable how candid she was in explaining the reason behind calling off the engagement. She posted:
“Unfortunately, although I love Nick and I have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him—It’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to. I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned you’re entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.”
As for Nick, he also posted his own tweet, acknowledging his new relationship status, “single.”
Obviously, this relationship couldn’t fix what’s broken even though they tried. If you can recall, a couple of months ago, Nick was caught in an alleged cheating scandal when his teammate D Angelo Russel was recording their chat about a 19 year old girl that Nick met in a club. In the leaked recording, it was clearly implied that Nick cheated on his fiancé with that girl.
When Iggy got wind of the recording, she tweeted “Hmmm I see D Angelo Russell is trending… I actually liked his film. Thanks bro.”
And while Iggy tried to put a strong front, she’s already had enough, more than enough in fact. TMZ was able to obtain photos of Iggy throwing out Nick’s stuff from the second floor window of their house. Yup, she also threw away the car he gave her, which all now belong in the driveway. Indeed, there’s nothing like a woman scorned.
