Jada Pinkett Smith has chosen to respond after funnyman Chris Rock savagely slammed her at this year’s Oscars ceremony.
During the stand-up star’s blistering opening monologue, he took ruthless aim at the ‘Gotham’ star’s decision to boycott the Academy Awards over the lack of black nominees.

“Jada said she’s not coming,” said Rock.
“I was like, ‘Isn’t she on a TV show?’ Jada’s gonna boycott the Oscars? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited!”
Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Spike Lee and filmmaker Michael Moore were among a handful of directors and stars who didn’t attend the Oscars this year, after no black actors were nominated in any of the acting categories for the second year in a row.
However, Smith seemed disinterested as she strutted past photographers at LAX on Saturday.
Pinkett Smith shrugged it off and responded: “It comes with the territory, sweetheart.”
Rock also took aim at her husband Will Smith, who had also boycotted the Oscar ceremony.
“It’s not fair that Will was this good and didn’t get nominated,” he said of the movie star’s role in NFL drama ‘Concussion’.
“It’s also not fair that Will was paid $20 million for ‘Wild Wild West’.”
Touche, Mr. Rock, touche…
Will, to his credit, merely shot reporters a toothy grin and a peace sign when prodded by the press about Rock’s jokes.
