So count us among the giddy when it comes to the whispers that Kourtney Kardashian and her baby daddy Scott Disick may be reconciling…
What is it about this relationship/pseudi-marriage that makes you want to root for them despite everything?
And when I say everything, that includes the booze, cheating scandals and their publicized hook-ups.Maybe it’s because we want to believe that against all odds, a married couple can still win the war….especially if they’re rotten people…that are beyond perfect for each other.
Perhaps, we want them together because of their adorable kids and maybe we want to see more of those adorable kids…and in a voyeuristic way we wonder if they can be normal despite their parents (and grandparents)…
So what stirred rumors of a reunion for Kourtney and Scott? Well, it was none other than a sneak peek for the reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, in which Kourtney’s notoriously loudmouthed sibling Khloe Kardasian weighed in on her sister’s marriage…dropping hints that she thought the timing was ripe for a rekindling of their flame.
“You guys know they’re totally getting back together one day,” Khloe said.
She didn’t have proof, but coming from a sister and a Kardashian herself, she probably has some insights, and knows more than we can ever know. Time will tell how prophetic Khole’s remark will prove to be, and if she’s right then we can start to call her Nostradamus Kardashian…
