Kristen Stewart has been announced as the new face of Chanel’s 2016 Eyes Collection, the fashion house announced on Tuesday, February 2.

The brand’s press release stated:
“CHANEL is pleased to announce that American actress Kristen Stewart is the new face of its 2016 EYES COLLECTION campaign, photographed by Mario Testino and scheduled to break in March 2016.”

But it’s her personality, not her previous experience, that got her the role in Chanel’s 2016 Eyes Collection.
“With her modern, magnetic beauty, and free spirit, Stewart appears in a series of portraits embodying various facets of the contemporary CHANEL woman.”
The actress, 25, will appear in a campaign called Collection Eyes 2016, which was photographed by Mario Testino.

Stewart is no stranger to the house. In 2013, she fronted the advertising for the Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas collection.

She also starred in the short film “Once and Forever,” lensed by Karl Lagerfeld for the Métiers d’Art fashion show in Rome last December.
The Twilight alum’s 2016 campaign is scheduled to debut in March.
