If there is one thing that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have in common…it’s their weirdness. It’s probably also the reason why despite people being pessimistic about this relationship, the couple still looks like an item that’s in it for the long haul.
Back in the day, when Miley would refuse to wear clothes like some unruly toddler, you’d actually be forgiven for assuming that Liam made the right call by splitting up with her back in 2013. But low and behold, Liam came rushing back for more last year, rekindling the flame. Miley may be bizarre, but if there’s one person who can understand her shenanigans, it’s definitely Liam!
Take this outrageous party for instance. While it wasn’t Miley or Liam’s party per se, they happily participated in whatever activity was planned that day. Actually, it was Liam’s sister Samantha Hemsworth’s birthday and the theme? GOLD.
The good thing about the party was it wasn’t the bad kind of weird, but the fun kind. For one, the guests including Miley, Liam, Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips, and pro surfer Kelly Slater glammed it up! Miley wore a gold basketball jersey and Liam wore gold shorts.
The other activities on the list included taking pictures with a gigantic gold horse, and even wearing golden ram horns during the party. What was the highlight of the gold plated bash? I think it’s definitely the naked butt painting. But mind you, the butt painting is really for art’s sake. Once the person sits down, the result is a beautiful butterfly painting…let’s just hope they wiped thoroughly beforehand…

But just the same, it’s clear that Liam and Miley are having tons of fun Down Under and clearly, Liam’s family likes Miley too…
He doesn’t even seem to be put off by the sight of her horse face…even when sober…
