The ongoing faux feud of late night television has hit a new high, as Jimmy Kimmel‘s mock adversary Matt Damon took their “rivalry” to a new…even if staged…level.
Jimmy is not pleased that a “not-so-super-PAC” is trying to stop him from his independent run for vice president of the United States…
And who else could be behind an attack ad on Kimmel but his longtime “nemesis,” Matt Damon, in keeping with their long-running fake feud.
“Can Jimmy Kimmel really be trusted?” Damon says in a voiceover during the ad. “Time and time again, he has proven to be deceitful, duplicitous, a liar.”
Damon’s voice runs over footage of his rift with Kimmel. “Why does Jimmy Kimmel mislead people? Humiliate them? Physically assault them? Make them dress up as fruit for no reason?”
“If Jimmy Kimmel f—d Ben Affleck, who’s he going to f— next? America?”
The ad was paid for by “Citizens for a Kimmel-free America.”
