The ‘I Would Die For You’ crooner is on the coroner’s slab as we speak, awaiting the official results of the toxicology and lab results of his dissected cadaver.
The 80s music icon perished unexpectedly on April 21st, found slouched and non-respondent in an elevator in his lavish Paisley Park home. Paramedics were unable to revive ‘Prince‘ before he expired on the scene.
Rumors persist without confirmation that the 57 year old singer was overcome by complications caused by a secret affliction with AIDS.

It is known, however, that last week he was rushed to the hospital apparently recovering from a bout of flu that had forced his private jet to make an emergency landing in Illinois.
Grief stricken fans have already gathered as mourners, transforming the road to his house into a shrine of mementos in his honor.

Hopefully the pending autopsy results will shed light on his death and give the public closure and understanding.
Was this a freak illness? Was it a cliche drug overdose ending for a maverick entertainer? Or was it a secret battle with a nefarious virus, contracted through the reckless hedonism that ‘Prince’ embraced in image and in song?
As this story is still developing, stay tuned to Celebrity Gossiper for updates as they unfold.
