Movie god Brad Pitt voluntarily took a drug test in an effort to cooperate with a Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services investigation.
The test took place within days of the alleged Sept. 14 incident on the family’s private plane during a trip back from France in which Pitt is accused of having physically and verbally abused one of the couple’s six children.
Jolie filed for divorce the following Monday, citing irreconcilable differences and listing Sept. 15 as their separation date. “This decision was made for the health of the family,” her lawyer, Robert Offer told the media.
Under California law, DCFS investigates every complaint report it receives. A spokesperson for the department told People that drug and alcohol tests are standard practice in child-abuse investigations.

According to the independent medication information site Drugs.com, frequent marijuana use can register in urine analysis from anywhere from one to three months depending on factors such as an individual’s size and metabolism….meaning if wacky tobacky is in Brad’s system, it will be found out by urinalysis.
Pitt has 30 days from the time of Jolie’s Sept. 19 filing to submit his legal response, and he appears to be prepping to fight every single accusation thrown his way with the best evidence he can present…or at least pee into a cup.
