Rose McGowan has taken exception to the marketing materials of the latest X-Men film…
A billboard displayed in Los Angeles and New York features Jennifer Lawrence’s character being strangled, with the words ‘only the strong will survive’…clearly this is subversive advocacy for choking every woman in sight…at least so far as Rose McGowan is concerned.
The dramatic promotional display for X-Men: Apocalypse has McGowan alleging the images promote violence toward women…because who doesn’t want to imitate a comic book villain choking the life out of a curvy blue comic book mutant…impressionable minds will always mimic what archaic newsprint media presents to them…it’s science…
Check out a taste of her twitter bitching…
I know it’s a movie scene, but they’re also putting it on ads. 😕 pic.twitter.com/conG7YkhNt

“There is a major problem when the men and women at 20th Century Fox think casual violence against women is the way to market a film,” McGowan further complained in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
We defend McGowan’s right to be offended, we just have a hard time caring too much that she is…
