Update: UsWeekly claims she’s dating her friend and collaborator Charlie Puth for real this time, we heard the rumor last fall. Although the two seemed to be so into each other, a source told HollywoodLife.com:
“Charlie thinks that Selena is great, but as shocking as it might sound he doesn’t want to pursue anything romantically with her,” and that, “They had a really fun time but hung out in a sea of people that it was mostly pleasantries and such and then they went on with their nights. No couple here!”
Correction: UsWeekly says a source revealed the two are hooking up and have a flirty friendship that totally doesn’t equal dating, right? The source says, “It’s not serious but she’s super into him”. Well, she’s probably is super into him as friends.
The duo is recording a duet together, it’s called, “We Don’t Talk Anymore”, and it’s for his debut album. And you definitely need to have some chemistry to record a duet. Which is probably why she tagged him to come along for her upcoming revival tour this summer. The two first met at an MTV VMA party where he just went up and started talking to her. He told us,
“I was floored by how well she handled herself and how mature she was…It’s nice to get to know the actual person and finding out she’s an interesting person…I’m happy we’re friends”.
