It appears a snafu has rocked Donald Trump’s presidential campaign in New York, where Trump’s own children won’t be able to vote for him in the 2016 Republican Primary because none are registered with the correct party…the party that their dad is supposedly seeking the nomination for to run as President of the United States.
Trump, who has relied on his kids heavily as campaign props that humanize him, has never shied away from an opportunity to brag about his photogenic daughter or his outspoken sons on social media.
And his trendy daughter Ivanka Trump is a fashion icon in her own right.
So it comes as somewhat of a sheepish surprise to know that the kids didn’t have the wherewithal to be registered in time to vote for dear old dad when he’s running for president in a tight Republican nomination process.
In fact some of the more scandalous whispers around Washington and the media are that Trumps’ kids aren’t registered Republican because they’re in actuality all registered DEMOCRATS and have NEVER been registered Republicans.
And it’s apparently not only Trump’s kids who can’t vote for him…but actual members of his staff…which is just a tad bit embarrassing.
Trump is heavily favored to win the New York primary, but it appears it will be no thanks to family or staff….and adding insult to injury is the fact that Ivanka appears to have named her new born son TED…
