Who would’ve thought that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston would break-up after only three months of intense dating? Okay, maybe you had a gut feeling (and we did too), but the supposed reason behind their split is completely unexpected…
It turns out that Taylor was the one who broke up with the British actor for the most curious of reasons…Tom wanted the relationship to be more public. A source confided in E! News that:
“[Taylor] is upset it came to an end and wants to take some time to just chill away from any relationship. They had a loved-filled three months, but it may have [gotten] too hot too soon.”
The source continued, “Taylor felt he wanted to take the relationship to be too public. She was not happy about it and thought it was too much publicity.”
Well, that’s a change of pace from Taylor’s typical dating drama…Swift as their relationship proved to be… Taylor wanted their relationship to be private and Tom was the one who wanted the public to gawk at them? Let’s go back three months ago when the couple was always photographed whenever they went. Taylor even brought Tom to Selena Gomez’s concert and even flaunted him at her Fourth of July bash where Tom wore that humiliating “I [heart] TS” tank.
Moreover, we all know that Tom likes to keep his relationships hush-hush, which was why it came as such a shock when he publicly displayed affection with TayTay. Not to mention, Tom always sounds uncomfortable and awkward when asked about his relationship with the pop singer.
I don’t know but if you ask us, the alleged reason behind the split just doesn’t add up. But hey, we’re not hating on Swift…maybe somewhere along the way, Tom did enjoy all that attention and wanted more. We eagerly await whether or not Tom is the subject of a Taylor hit single…but first, that Calvin Harris break-up song needs to hit the air waves…
