Alternative pop-rock band Coldplay just released their music video for their song “Hymn for the Weekend” which also features their Super Bowl Halftime partner Beyonce. The video, which was directed by Ben Mor, shows the band singing in a joyous South Asian country where colored powder is being thrown in and around them. It all builds to a climax with the triumphant entrance of pop diva Beyonce dressed to the nines. Some of the dazzling images really show the world, why Bey is such a fashion and beauty icon.

The duo will presumably sing the song in their upcoming performance at the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime Show. And we all can’t wait to see them in action live on stage together, in what promises to be a spectacular performance for the ages. All indications are that this year’s Super Bowl Halftime will be a treat like never seen before, the star power is otherworldly, the talent untouchable, and the hype unmatched. So if any weekend ever was deserving of a hymn, it may well be this coming Sunday.
