If Johnny Manziel’s story about moving in with his college buddy, Super Bowl MVP Von Miller, while he collects the pieces of his shattered career sounded a little too good to be true…that’s because it was.
Add stretching the truth to Manziel’s undistinguished resume as of late.
Johnny “Formerly Football” Manziel was captured by paparazzi cameras in West Hollywood, where they cornered him for a comment about his imploding life.
Unexpectedly Manziel obliged the inquiry about the disaster zone he lives in daily, saying:
“I’m living out here with my guy, Von Miller,” Manziel boasted to the cameras. “Everybody knows Von Miller. Super Bowl MVP. Von Miller, my brother. I’m living with him right now. We’re getting our lives together.”
Problem is he actually isn’t.
In fact, sources have bombarded the sports world with reports that the quarterback is actually not living with Miller at all. Instead, the sources claim, Manziel is living with his former Cleveland teammate and fellow problem child, wide receiver Josh Gordon, in an apartment off of Sunset Boulevard.
The question is why lie? Did you think it would make you sound cool “bra”?
“There’s a difference between partying and getting out of control,” Manziel told the paparazzi.
Yes Johnny, and there’s also a difference between lying and telling the truth…
