Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher just confirmed that their second child is on the way. Wyatt Isabelle, 20 months old, will now have a baby sister or brother soon. Yey!
The rep for the couple confirmed the good news to PEOPLE and it’s pretty clear that Mila and Ashton aren’t wasting any time raising a family together. The couple who got married July 2015 is still very much in love with one another and expresses their admiration for each other as parents, which is a very good thing!
“Ashton genuinely lights up when talking about Wyatt and the little one on the way,” a source told PEOPLE. He also lights up when he talks about Mila, whom he describes as “the greatest mom.”
“I go to work every day, and I come home and she’s perfect. And it just seems like everything went amazing. And I know that something probably didn’t go amazing, but she never tells … it’s unbelievable. She’s incredible,” Ashton told Ellen DeGeneres.
Ashton and Mila did not employ a nanny so they’re both hands-on parents with Wyatt. But it’s not really a problem for Mila, who has effectively transitioned from Hollywood actress to certified mommy.
“I know that when we decided to have a kid, we were ready to no longer be selfish — at least start the process… Because innately, as humans, we’re very selfish people, and we really wanted to have a family,” Kunis explained to Entertainment Tonight last May.
She continued to explain that being a mother is learning how to be selfless. “Having this little human to raise … it was a balancing act, and then you learn how to be a great partner, and a great wife, and a great woman, and be yourself, and still be responsible for a living child. It’s definitely a learning process.”
